Accept a chargeback export

Finance completion requires acceptance of a chargeback-eligible export in-product. See Docs authority & product state.

Open the chargeback preview, review the period scope, and accept the export for finance handoff.

Steps

Role: FinOps or Finance approver with chargeback acceptance permission.

  1. Open the Exports surface at SaaS exports.
  2. Generate a FOCUS export from the FOCUS export path, then confirm its period, currency, policy version, and manifest checksum.
  3. Validate that every eligible line has coper >= 0.80; review provisional, estimated, disputed, and unknown amounts as excluded evidence.
  4. Reconcile export totals against billed actuals and record the result.
  5. Block acceptance and reject the export with a reason when any line, total, period, or manifest value does not match.
  6. Accept the reconciled export in-product as the billing basis.

For self-hosted deployments, use these same paths on your own instance host. See Governance and exports for the FOCUS eligibility and provenance contract.

Success evidence

The acceptance record names the export version, approver, period, checksum, reconciliation status, billing basis, and time. This real in-product action completes the Finance persona path.

Recovery

Reject a mismatched or ineligible export with the exact reason. Engineering or FinOps must resolve the source, mapping, or manifest issue and generate a new version for review; no admin or support override can mark it accepted.
